Ok it's my own fault - I know if you park illegally you get fined - I know if you overstay you're welcome you get fined - I know that if there is a tiny bit of your tyre touching the yellow line you get fined what I don't get is that with all the money that the council gets from fines ( and Edinburgh has more than all of the rest of Scotland put together) that they can't fill the holes in the roads .....with the profit they make they could fill the holes in the road with tenners!
