I travel a lot with this job and spend a lot of time on comparison websites for the best prices for trains planes and automobiles - these days the automobile is quite often the most expensive option and usually the trip involves travelling too far away to make driving an option anyway - like driving to tenerife comedy club would be stoopid !

however - i need to get to cambridge, driving takes too long as does the train so flying it is BUT if i had decided to drive i would have filled up the car with petrol and on the display it would say how much i had to pay - simple

same with the train, if i click on a journey that i want, i then proceed to checkout and the price they quoted would be the price i pay plus £1.00 booking fee - fair enough

but bloody fucking cheeky slimy cheating easyjet quote me a price for the flight but when i "proceed to checkout" they want EIGHT POUNDS if i want to pay by debit card ( not even friggin credit card thats even more expensive)

EIGHT POUNDS if you want to pay - well of course i want to pay but i don't want charged for the "priveledge" does anyone go into the petrol station knowing they've put £20 worth of fuel in their car but when they get to checkout they are told it will be EIGHT POUNDS more if you want to pay for it

LUDICROUS beyond belief - where do i write and complain? i am astonished that this blatent theft is being tolerated by all of us
